The food is consistently amazing with generous portions. The interior decor is fun and unique with gorgeous hand painted murals. Seating is spacious and easy to navigate with plenty of space between tables for wheelchair and walker users. The staff are very friendly and responsive. One of my favorite restaurants in all of Albuquerque.
Ordered the beef and lamb shawarma plate and the Greek plate. Delicious, generous portions. Kind staff and clean tables. Very popular local spot, parking can be a bit difficult, but the food is worth it!
Among the best middle eastern food I've had. Prices are great, service is friendly. They also help feed those in need in our community without advertising it. Good people.
It was quiet when I came for lunch food was so delicious and made from scratch customer service is amazing not to mention the Dubai chocolate was out of this world and I will be back.
I came to buy Dubai chocolate. The owner was very helpful and sweet. He told me there are now vending machines for these chocolates in my home city (El Paso, TX) in two local malls. I bought a large bar of dark chocolate pistachio crunch candy to try. It was phenomenal! My husband, daughter (shown in the photo trying the chocolate), and I loved the texture and flavor combination. I will be buying many more from the vending machines to give to family and friends to try. There is a reason this chocolate is viral and if you haven't already given it a try, you absolutely should do so at your earliest opportunity. By the way, even though we didn't eat a meal at the restaurant since we had already eaten food elsewhere, the aroma of the food cooking here was sorely tempting. I will be back in ABQ eventually, and when I am I will be trying some of the cuisine from here and will add an update.
I've been coming to Sahara since I arrived in Albuquerque, there are some weeks when I eat here every day, in the past three years. the owners are adorable! Friendly and loving. The food is just the best. Fresh is the operative word. The meat is fresh, the veggies are fresh and they make it all mouthwatering! While the atmosphere is not fancy, its comfortable, and I spend time there sometimes with my family. Thank you Sahara!
Got a to-go order of the Lebanese plate and their burger. Both of the plates were absolutely delicious. I also stopped in to get the Dubai bar which did not disappoint.
